Kelli Touré Bio
After earning her four-year degree from Eastern Michigan University, Kelli Touré began her career in television and live production as a jib technician. She spent two years mastering the technical side of the craft before stepping into the role of jib operator.
Kelli’s first assignment as an operator came on The Steve Harvey Show, a live-to-tape production in Cleveland, Ohio, during the brutal snowstorm of 2015. Working for ten hours in high winds and below-zero temperatures, she delivered the shots the director needed under extremely challenging conditions. That experience set the tone for the professionalism, toughness, and precision she brings to every production.
From there, Kelli went on to operate on episodes of the hit television show Dance Moms. She has since built a diverse body of work spanning broadcast television, live sports, concerts, corporate events, political appearances, automotive productions, and scripted entertainment.
Her sports and live-event credits include work with Lyon Video and Fox Sports Ohio for The Ohio State University National Football Championship Celebration, as well as major events such as Cincinnati Reds Opening Day, MLS productions in Columbus, DAZN Boxing featuring Claressa Shields, the World Series, NFL Hall of Fame Inductions, the MLB Home Run Derby, the NBA Finals for the Cleveland Cavaliers, the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, and the NFL Draft.
Kelli has also worked with the Detroit Red Wings, the Detroit Lions, Big Ten Network, and Barstool Sports at both Michigan State University and the University of Michigan. In live entertainment, she has operated on performances featuring the Cleveland Orchestra, Darius Rucker, Marshmello, and other notable artists.
In the corporate world, Kelli is equally experienced, having worked on events and presentations for brands and organizations including FILA, Sprite, Rocket Mortgage, United Wholesale Mortgage, and The Automotive Hall of Fame. She has also operated for high-profile political events, including appearances involving Governor Gretchen Whitmer and President Joe Biden.
Her additional credits include indie films, television productions, and special programming such as Do You Believe?, Tantalum, The Great Christmas Light Fight, The Great Halloween Fright Fight, and Netflix’s Rhythm + Flow. She has also worked extensively in automotive production, including the Detroit Auto Show, MOPAR, RealTruck, and multiple Detroit Auto Show vehicle reveals.
With experience across nearly every style of production, Kelli Touré is a versatile, dependable, and highly skilled jib operator who understands how to deliver dynamic shots in fast-moving, high-pressure environments. Whether the setting is live broadcast, sports, entertainment, corporate production, or special events, she brings both technical expertise and creative instinct to every job.
